We went out with our friend Jeff and his two grandchildren to get some sorbet (yum). Later, he invited us to his beautiful, modern Manhattan apartment in Soho for a intimate kirtan with close friends. His apartment featured a built-in stage, so it was the perfect place for a mellow late-night kirtan facing a huge ten-foot-tall window. Then, after the show, we found ourselves in the backroom, of course, playing around with Jeff’s vast collection of musical instruments. There’s nothing like banging on tambourines and exotic drums at one o’clock in the morning!
