By Car: Approximately 2 1/2 hours from New York City
1. Take GW Bridge top level
2. Exit right at end of bridge to Pallisades Parkway North
[Alternately, you could drive up 87 North to exit #19 Kingston)
3. Exit #9W to 87 North toward Albany (NOT exit #2 to Route 9W)
4. Stay on 87 North (New York State Thruway TOLL ROAD
5. Take exit #19 Kingston, Woodstock
6. After paying toll at Kingston exit, exit right onto route 28, Pine Hill.
7. Turn right onto route #375 toward Woodstock, go about 10 miles, #375 deadends at Route #212, turn left toward Woodstock/Bearsville.
8. Go through town of Woodstock (still on route 212), go through Bearsville (look for small 212 roadside sign on right, or Bearsville Cafe on left)
In Bearsville 212 takes a right turn, but persevere, and stay on 212 to Shady (there is no "town" to it, but a small sign on the right of the road about 2 miles from Bearsville.
We live on 212 in Shady, so you are now close.
When the road gets curvy, you will see a road called Church Road on the right, we are just past Church Road by one curve to the left then one to the right. You will see a barn up close to the road painted red. Our mailbox is colored red and the number is 3651. There is a wooden Cat on top of mailbox
Our driveway is on the other side of the road from the mailbox and the barn.
YOU WILL SEE "LIFE/GANNON" NEXT TO DRIVEWAY, AS WELL AS A SIGN THAT SAYS "YOGA"
We are all the way back to the end of the drive.

The Wild Woodstock Jivamukti Ashram is a 76-acre forest preserve in the Catskill Mountains. It is a sanctuary for deer, black bear, raccoons, opussums, coyotes, birds, fish, frogs, snakes, insects, trees, flowers and numerous species of fairies and elemental beings.
