Create a body revolution with dynamic dance and soulful sacred music!

Which came first, the song or the dance? Devotional artists in ancient times considered music and dance to be divinely intertwined, offered with love in the sanctified space of the temple. In this workshop we'll learn about this relationship and how to create this sacred space with our own bodies and voices. Sacred music and dance are complete artforms that seek to express every emotion and flavour as an offering to the divine. Together we'll stamp, stretch, chant, sing, twist, call out, hit, pluck and spin! The workshop features traditional drumming kirtan music and storytelling by the Mayapuris and As Kindred Spirits as well as beautiful Indian temple dance with the Tribhangi company.
