Today we received an email from our friends Nimai and Vijay that came all the way from London to attend the 24 Hour Kirtan. They passed along the first MP3 from the 24 Hour Kirtans with promises of more to come. This should hold you over for now…
Bada Hari das leads the first two hours of Kirtan inside the temple room.
Well the New Vrindavan 24 Hour Kirtan Festival is over. For those who were there, it was an experience that will be remembered for the rest of time.
Our friend Sri Ram recorded the entire 24 hours (talk about endurance) so as soon as we receive the files from him, we will put them up for your listening pleasure.
For now, we will be posting short YouTube videos from select moments of the event. Here’s the first installment. Bada Hari das leads this heart moving Kirtan at the very beginning of the 24 hours.
A few days ago we had the privilege to record the Kishori Yatra which is a two week North American tour of Hare Krishna girls ages 10 to 14. With limited time we managed to record five tracks although some of the girls definitely missed their bed time.
Some of you may not be able to make it to New Vrindavan this weekend for the 2nd Annual 24 Hour Kirtan Festival but luckily our friends at www.Krishna.com have you covered.
You can now watch and listen to any of the kirtans that are done inside the temple room via the live Webcast at www.krishna.com/nv. We are guessing that the best times to watch and listen are between 11 am to 7 pm EST on June 21st. After this time the kirtans will move over to Prabhupada’s Place of Gold for the night time.
Summer is coming and going and our schedule is full of shows, vacations, meetings and recording. In the mean time we have been slowly adding to this site. Here are some of the new items that are up:
Donation page - If you enjoy our music and media please consider supporting the arts. Donate here! (Found under the About menu)
Ten Million Moons page - The central page dedicated to the new Ten Million Moons album. (Found under the As Kindred Spirits menu)
