Bada Hari das at the 24 Hour Kirtan in New Vrindavan 2008

Bada Haridas performs kirtan around the world with a humble attitude and a pure heart. His is currently touring the United States, bringing his vibrant and youthful energy to cities across the country.

Bada Haridas received a Bachelor’s degree in music composition from the University of Southern California and a scholarship for his graduate studies at the Institute for Advanced Musical Studies in Montreau, Switzerland. For the past twenty-seven years he has studied and performed Indian devotional music, including Indian classical music and raga, Bengali bhajan, mridanga, and harmonium.

Bada Haridas has offered numerous seminars on Vaishnava kirtan in places as far distant as the Ukraine. Most recently, he has taught kirtan in the Vaishnava Academy for Girls in Alachua, FL. He has produced several kirtan recordings, including Lalasamayi, Devotional Meditations, Om Purnam (2001) and Nadia (2005).
